cap\u00edtulo decidimos continuar os trabalhos na zona a Sul do v\u00e9rtice geod\u00e9sico dos Alecrineiros. Desta feita fizemos\u00a0 prospe\u00e7\u00e3o naquele belo local, subindo o vale cego que ali se encontra.<\/span><\/span><\/div><div style=\"letter-spacing: normal; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-family: Questrial; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify; white-space: pre-line; line-height: 0.5;\" data-line-height=\"0.5\">\u00a0<\/div><div style=\"letter-spacing: normal; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-family: Questrial; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify; white-space: pre-line;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Olhando para o Cadastro de S\u00e3o Bento e at\u00e9 para o da pr\u00f3pria F.P.E. (Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Portuguesa de Espeleologia), constata-se que nesta \u00e1rea, h\u00e1 poucas cavidades conhecidas, e o potencial da zona fez-nos acreditar que muito h\u00e1 por descobrir. Aproveitando a restante luz do dia, fizemos um pouco de prospe\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0Procuramos numa zona em que o mato denso disfar\u00e7a a profundidade do lapi\u00e1s ali existente.<\/span><\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 0.5;\" data-line-height=\"0.5\">\u00a0<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 1.6;\" data-line-height=\"1.6\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Um destes chamou-nos a aten\u00e7\u00e3o, avan\u00e7\u00e1mos junto ao solo, e ao virar um pouco descobrimos a boca do algar (na foto em cima j\u00e1 o mato tinha sido desbravado). Segue-se um po\u00e7o com 5 m de profundidade, em que uma das laterais ainda tem argila, sendo tamb\u00e9m um pouco inst\u00e1vel, estreitando ligeiramente em profundidade. A forma\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 datada do Batoniano (andar do Jur\u00e1ssico m\u00e9dio, de acordo com Manuppella et al., 2000). A cavidade pode ser classificada como um vadose shaft. O algar \u00e9 estruturalmente controlado por duas fraturas, uma de direc\u00e7\u00e3o aproximada Norte-Sul, e outra de direc\u00e7\u00e3o aproximada NW-SE, ambas verticais. O desenvolvimento do algar \u00e9 reduzido. ideia de um oco que o ter\u00e1 feito\u00a0inclinar. De facto o oco estava l\u00e1 mas o algar estava escondido.<\/span><\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 0.5;\" data-line-height=\"0.5\">\n<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 1.6;\" data-line-height=\"1.6\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; letter-spacing: 0px;\">Seguiu-se a primeira desobstru\u00e7\u00e3o, que deu acesso a um belo po\u00e7o com paredes\u00a0cobertas de formas de reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o. Est\u00e1vamos a explorar o desconhecido.<\/span><\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 1.6;\" data-line-height=\"1.6\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\n<strong>Descri\u00e7\u00e3o:<\/strong>\nA boca do algar (atual) que foi por n\u00f3s desobstru\u00edda n\u00e3o era mais do que uma pequena fissura. Esta est\u00e1 num lapi\u00e1z tombado cerca de 30\u00ba\u00a0para Sul, criando\u00a0o pequeno\u00a0espa\u00e7o onde se encontra a entrada do algar, o qual se acede por um destrepe de 2m.<\/span><\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 0.5;\" data-line-height=\"0.5\">\n<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 1.6;\" data-line-height=\"1.6\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Segue-se um po\u00e7o de 12m, em que no seu teto se nota a entrada original do algar, com um bloco a obstruir, e que a superf\u00edcie fica por debaixo de um muro de pedra. O po\u00e7o \u00e9 forrado de formas de reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o parietais, sendo muito bonito.<\/span><\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 0.5;\" data-line-height=\"0.5\">\n<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 1.6;\" data-line-height=\"1.6\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Na sua base encontra-se um cone de deje\u00e7\u00e3o que inicialmente segue no sentido N-S mas que vira para E-O, e tem uma inclina\u00e7\u00e3o de cerca de 45\u00ba.<\/span><\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 0.5;\" data-line-height=\"0.5\">\n<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 1.6;\" data-line-height=\"1.6\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">O cone termina numa pequena sala (se assim se pode chamar) que se desenvolve no sentido N-S\u00a0a qual,\u00a0ocupando quase toda a sua dimens\u00e3o, tem uma rampa de calcite, que se apresenta\u00a0oca por baixo.<\/span><\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 0.5;\" data-line-height=\"0.5\">\n<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 1.6;\" data-line-height=\"1.6\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">O ch\u00e3o desta pequena sala \u00e9 totalmente\u00a0 coberto de argila.<\/span><\/div><div style=\"letter-spacing: normal; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; caret-color: #000000; color: #000000; font-family: Questrial; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify; white-space: pre-line; line-height: 0.5;\" data-line-height=\"0.5\"> \n<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; letter-spacing: 0px;\">No topo do cone de deje\u00e7\u00e3o,\u00a0passando um pequeno laminador, tem-se acesso a uma di\u00e1clase\u00a0de direc\u00e7\u00e3o aproximada E-O. Esta prolonga-se por cerca de 10m, sendo sempre estreita com alguns pequenos po\u00e7os e uma chamin\u00e9 com\u00a08m. A di\u00e1clase \u00e9 forrada de formas de reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o parietais.<\/span><\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 0.5;\" data-line-height=\"0.5\">\n<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">Nota-se que no final da progress\u00e3o\u00a0esta continua\u00a0mas muito estreita, e que n\u00e3o se sente qualquer passagem de ar.<\/span><\/span><\/div><br style=\"font-size: 16px;\" \/><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Geologia:\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">O algar desenvolve-se na forma\u00e7\u00e3o dos Calc\u00e1rios M\u00edcriticos da Serra de Aire. A forma\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 datada do Batoniano (andar do Jur\u00e1ssico m\u00e9dio, de acordo com Manuppella et al., 2000). O ar circulava e conseguia-se ver que havia ali mais qualquer coisa, e de facto a di\u00e1clase prolonga-se por mais uns metros dando acesso a um po\u00e7o\u00a0que \u00e9 a continua\u00e7\u00e3o da di\u00e1clase, s\u00f3 que agora mais funda. <\/span><\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 0.5;\" data-line-height=\"0.5\">\u00a0<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Est\u00e1vamos &#8220;embriagados&#8221; com a beleza que v\u00edamos e constat\u00e1mos depois que, para nossa tristeza\u00a0a di\u00e1clase fecha, havendo uma pequena abertura\u00a0assinalada na topografia, que nos parece demasiado penosa e sem qualquer passagem de ar.
