Introdu\u00e7\u00e3o<\/span><\/p>

A aus\u00eancia de registos sobre esta mina tornara-a alvo de cobi\u00e7a por parte da comunidade espeleol\u00f3gica. No in\u00edcio do mil\u00e9nio, foram realizadas v\u00e1rias tentativas de explora\u00e7\u00e3o por parte do extinto GEV (Grupo Espeleol\u00f3gico de Valongo). Por\u00e9m, os n\u00edveis da \u00e1gua nunca permitiram a sua explora\u00e7\u00e3o e, mesmo os projetos mais ousados de mergulho ficaram no papel e por realizar. <\/span><\/div>

Foi ent\u00e3o que, em 2014, aquando da forma\u00e7\u00e3o do GEM Norte, se iniciaram v\u00e1rias tentativas de explora\u00e7\u00e3o da mina, todas elas sem \u00eaxito. Contudo, a monitoriza\u00e7\u00e3o do n\u00edvel da \u00e1gua durante os meses quentes manteve-se. Este ano (2017), devido \u00e0 seca que se fez sentir em Portugal, a janela de oportunidade finalmente abrira ao fim de d\u00e9cadas.<\/span><\/div>

A explora\u00e7\u00e3o espeleol\u00f3gica foi realizada dia 12 de outubro. No dia seguinte, conclu\u00edmos os trabalhos topogr\u00e1ficos, fotogr\u00e1ficos e de georreferencia\u00e7\u00e3o. Assim, estava terminado um ciclo de mist\u00e9rio sobre a \u00abPresa Moreanes\u00bb. Durante as semanas seguintes, o tempo seco manteve-se, baixando ainda mais os n\u00edveis da \u00e1gua.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>

The lack of records on this mine made it a sort of \u201cEl Dorado\u201d for the speleological community. At the start of this millennium, various attempts to explore the mine were made by the now-defunct GEV (Grupo Espeleol\u00f3gico de Valongo). But the water levels never allowed it to be explored, and even the most daring projects never got past the planning stage.<\/span>

When GEM Norte was organised in 2014, various attempts were again made to explore the mine, but they, too, were all unsuccessful. Nonetheless, during the hot summer months, the water level continued to be monitored. This year (2017), because of the drought conditions in Portugal, the window of opportunity finally opened after all these decades.<\/span>

The speleological exploration was carried out on the 12th of October. On the following day, we completed our topographic, photographic and georeferencing work. The cycle of mystery surrounding the \u201cPresa Moreanes\u201d had come to an end. During the following weeks, the dry weather continued, causing the water level to drop even farther.<\/span><\/span><\/div>

L\u2019absence de donn\u00e9es sur cette mine est devenue la cible plus convoit\u00e9e de la communaut\u00e9 sp\u00e9l\u00e9ologique. \u00c0 l’aube du nouveau mill\u00e9naire, plusieurs tentatives d\u2019exploitation ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9es par le GEV\u00a0 (Grupo Espeleol\u00f3gico de Valongo) d\u00e9j\u00e0 disparu. Cependant, les niveaux d\u2019eau n’ont jamais permis son exploitation et m\u00eame les projets de plong\u00e9e les plus audacieux n\u2019existaient que sur le papier et ils n\u2019ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 accomplis.<\/span><\/em>

C’est donc en 2014, lors de la formation du \u00ab GEM Norte \u00bb, que plusieurs tentatives d’exploitation de la mine sont faites, mais n\u2019ont eu aucun succ\u00e8s. Toutefois, on a continu\u00e9 \u00e0 surveiller le niveau d\u2019eau pendant les mois chauds. Cette ann\u00e9e (2017), en raison de la s\u00e9cheresse qui a frapp\u00e9 le Portugal, .la fen\u00eatre d\u2019opportunit\u00e9 a enfin vu le jour depuis des d\u00e9cennies.<\/span><\/em>

L\u2019exploitation sp\u00e9l\u00e9ologique a eu lieu le 12 octobre. Le lendemain, on a termin\u00e9 les travaux topographiques, photographiques et de g\u00e9or\u00e9f\u00e9rencement. Le cycle de myst\u00e8re de la \u00ab Presa Moreanes \u00bb \u00e9tait donc r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9. Au cours des semaines suivantes, le temps reste sec, et le niveau d\u2019eau n\u2019a pas augment\u00e9 depuis l\u00e0.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/div>
